She completed her undergraduate degree at Istanbul University Psychology department. She started her career as a volunteer at Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital. She worked as a psychologist in private clinics that perform psychological research within the framework of tube baby treatment in Turkey. She worked as a volunteer in Social Services Child Protection Agency for 1 year. She completed her Psychometric and Projective Child Assessment programs. She gained the title of International Play Therapist by studying International Play Therapy and continued his professional career as a long time psychologist at YA-PA Children's Club. Between 2009-2010, she worked in Metris Closed Penal Institution. After that, she worked as a psychologist for a long time in Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. She has been involved in many international congresses and projects since her undergraduate years. Since 2012, she has been working on the Nine Types Temperament model. She has a large number of academic articles on The Nine Types of Temperament and is fluent in English. Özge Ünal continues her academic studies and researches. Together with Enver Demirel Yılmaz, she wrote the book “Aşk-ı Mizaç/Love of Temperament” in 2015.
